Who would be the audience for your media product?

These people represent my target audience. They're into stylish and like to have fun and look like 'dancers'.

They are mainly a British-Asian audience, but can also be Asian people who have moved from Asia (particularly South-East Asia) and English people who may start listening and embracing the Asia culture. In my questionnaire, lots of the people I asked were fully British, and when asked, said they would consider listening to Asian music more.

Using this information, I decided that there may be a larger market for my magazine than simply Asian people or British-Asian people, meaning it may be commercially viable to publish.

My target audience member would buy stylish clothes, taking influence from groups such as Big Bang, either shopping over the internet or finding select items from shops they go to.

They would listen to English music as well as Asian music, or would be willing to start listening to it. Dance music would be popular with them.

Popular TV programmes might be dance shows or they might use music channels.

They would be willing to spend money on clothes and finding a place to dance together.

From UK Tribes I have picked two types of people that I think fit my target audience best.

  1. This needs more detail about British-Asians. I think you need to look at demographics a bit more. For example where are British Asian audiences concentrated? And if you are being even more specific and looking at British-Asian teenagers exclusively from SE Asia, then this has to be explained too, along with whether you think there would be a big enough TA to keep your magazine commercially viable.
